Tailored Personal Fitness Training, Corrective Exercise Programs, Mobility, and Strength Programs

Your body relies on balanced movement to stay healthy. I offer comprehensive personal training to achieve your fitness goals. Assessing mobility, cardiorespiratory fitness, strength, and structural balance gives us metrics that directly correlate to both our longevity and quality of life as we age. My approach to personal training includes an emphasis on educating you about your body, empowering you with self-efficacy, and coaching optimal movement and function. Utilizing the IFT® model from the American Council on Exercise, and the Biomechanics Method® as a corrective exercise specialist, I will conduct structural assessments, coach corrective exercise techniques, and better prepare you to make informed decisions about how your movement is executed throughout the day. Using these tools allows me to design a program that is unique to your current limitations, needs, abilities, and goals. When combined with the structural change and support provided by bodywork and mobility exercises, movement training will also give you powerful tools to change faulty body mechanics, correct poor posture, and improve body composition. (Also known as Cranial-Sacral Therapy)

Leverage Your Nervous System's Healing Abilities

This modality evaluates and enhances the function of the Craniosacral system, comprised of bones, membranes and fluid that surround and protect the brain, spinal cord and nerves. Practitioners develop highly refined and specialized palpation abilities to assess and gently release restrictions and compression, which may have impeded proper function of the CNS, organs, muscles, nerves, joints, blood vessels and body tissues in general. We call this technique "unwinding", which utilizes the body's autonomous capacity to sense and execute subtle self-corrective movements. By facilitating the body's natural healing processes, Craniosacral is often effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with injury, pain, trauma, surgical procedures, and dysfunction. This includes TMJ/TMJD, migraines, neck and back pain, chronic fatigue, PTSD, spinal injuries, sleep disorders, vertigo, whiplash/CAD, and neuralgias, among other conditions.

I also offer specialized intra-oral techniques that include both Craniosacral Therapy and massage to treat symptoms of TMJD, bruxism, dental trauma, and headaches. Intra-oral treatments are only offered in series of 2+ sessions.
